Specialty and Featured Classes
The Family YMCA’s 6 weeks to a Healthier You consists of 4 sessions spread throughout the year. You can sign up for one session, or all four. Each session will have a different health focus such as setting SMART Health Goals, Spring Cleaning your Diet, Movement & Exercise, and Stress Reduction. We’ll meet Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm where you’ll receive individualized Health Coaching from certified health coaches and personal trainers. You’ll also work in small group settings to ensure that you are ready to make 2017 your healthiest year yet!

$100 per session for members, $150/per session for non-members. Receive a 10% discount if you sign up for all four sessions at one time.

TRX Suspension Training
A ceiling mounted suspensionsystem in which a variety of multi-planar, compound exercise movements can be performed with the aim of developing strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability. Some strength training experience is recommended. You must pre-register for this class. Ages 16 & up.

TRX HIIT 20 T/TH, 1205-12:25pm
This fun and effective HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) TRX class will give you a tremendous anaerobic, strength and power workout all rolled into one. TRX experience is recommended. Ages 16 & up.

Endurance Cycling 1/8 – 3/26 9:30am-11:30pm @ The Express Cycling Studio
Train for a fun ride with friends or your 1st Century Ride!
Each class will have a 1 1/2 hour riding component and 1/2 hour core conditioning. In addition, the following topics will be discussed: Proper Bike fit, Clothing and Equipment, Nutrition and Hydration, Aches and Pains: Preventing them and what to do if you have them.
*Heart rate monitor is required the first day of class.
