Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams on roller skates, on an elliptical track and is one of the most rapidly growing sports in the country.
The Los Alamos Cherry Bombs are a junior roller derby team sponsored by the Los Alamos YMCA, welcoming to all youth who are interested in the sport of roller derby. All skill levels welcome! Loaner gear is available for new participants. The Cherry Bombs are members of the Junior Roller Derby Association and compete locally and nationally.

Starting Sunday, February 25, our Tuesday and Sunday practice spaces will move to the Barranca Mesa Elementary Gym (57 Loma Del Escolar St, Los Alamos, NM 87544).

The YMCA will also be offering Quad Camp this summer! Learn to skate summer programs for ages 9-17. Keep an eye out for details!
Program payment policy: payment upon registration is required, no refunds, credits will be given on a case to case basis.
