SAFE-REOPENING PLAN
The Family YMCA will abide by strict guidelines and restrictions provided by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), state and local government, EPA, OSHA, and Y of the USA to ensure that members and staff are safe and protected at all times at any YMCA facility.

Child Watch C-19 Addendum
Parent Acknowledgement of Child Watch Addendum

HERE'S WHAT'S NEW:

  • The Y is open Monday-Friday, 5:30 am-8 pm; and Saturday-Sunday, 10 am-5 pm
  • The hours of 11am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday are reserved for senior and high health risk members until further notice
  • The facility will operate at 25% capacity
  • Areas and rooms will have posted capacities to support social distancing 
  • A new waiver needs to be signed by all members, see in reopening plan 
  • Masks are required
  • Members and employees will be screened with a no-contact thermometer; individuals with a temperature above 100.4 will not be allowed in the facility
  • Physical distancing is required at all times
  • Hand sanitation is required upon entering, also available at exit
  • Members must wipe down equipment before and after each use, and 
  • Members need to bring in and take out daily their own stretching mats 
  • No-touch water bottle filling stations are available, but not fountains
  • Racquetball courts are available. Reservations required, call 662-3100
  • Open climbing wall hours are currently Tuesdays: 6:30-8pm, Wednesdays: 11:30am-1pm, Thursdays: 5-8pm
  • In person fitness classes require masks and distancing, bring your own water

  • Saunas and showers

Stay home if you are sick.
 
Wear Your Mask
Mask required for working out.
     
     

Keep Your Distance
Respect all signs regarding social distancing. Stay at least six feet away from others whenever possible.
 
Expect Reduced Capacity
At time of full capacity, you may wait outside or return at another time.
     
     

Wipe Down Equipment
Use the cleaning materials provided. Wipe equipment before and after your workout.
 
Wash Your Hands
Wash or sanitize your hands before AND after working out.
