Mission

Our mission is to build community strength by focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility; and as a 501c3 nonprofit organization to ensure access to all in need.

As a 501c3 charity, The Family YMCA is centered on the philanthropic goal of social well-being and access to all. We believe in serving the public interest and common good.

Our services include youth and family healthy living and active lifestyle programs (recreation, fitness, and health education programs); after school and summer camp family support; and positive youth development programs for teens in Los Alamos and Española, which includes youth employment programs.

Nearly half of those we serve are through personal development programs outside of health memberships.
