New at the YMCA: Nutrition Basics Programming

We’re excited to introduce Nutrition Basics, a new wellness offering designed to support our Y community on their journey toward better health. This program provides practical, easy-to-apply guidance to help participants build healthier habits that fit real life.

The program is led by Kate Cleveland, a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach who brings a wealth of knowledge, science-based expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for helping people feel their best. With a strong background in nutrition and behavior-based habit change, Kate helps busy individuals cut through the nutrition noise, create realistic routines, and improve their well-being—without chasing perfection.

Kate’s approach is rooted in the belief that real progress happens one small habit at a time, and that consistency will always beat extremes. Her approachable, supportive style creates a welcoming space where participants can learn, connect, and encourage one another, because meaningful change is easier when we’re not doing it alone.

When she’s not coaching, Kate enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the beauty of nature with her husband and their two adventurous daughters.
